Schiavo III

taunt
They're gone but...

The fight goes on

It's looking more and more like an ugly family fight and not a bold stand on personal or moral principles.
The matter of burying Schiavo, though, is something her families have had to settle themselves. The Schindlers, who are devout Catholics, wanted their daughter's remains buried in Florida, where they live. Michael Schiavo, however, has custody of the body and plans to have his wife cremated.
Obviously the devout Catholics should prevail - the person or side that makes and demonstrates the most fanatical belief system should get preferential treatment. That way the GOP can foster and reward fanatical behavior (think Spoils System) and the US will march down a path of low-tax intolerance and invasive self-righteousness.

What's remarkable is how the media has exaggerated the size and significance in of this small crowed. Lucas pioneered the use of computers and compositing to take a few extras and turn them into a crowd. Robert Rodriguez used similar techniques with his Spy Kids movie series. MSNBC, CNN and FOX are also using innovative methods to trick the eye into believing there is a large crowd outside Shiavo's hospice. It's a hysterical, fanatical group, but not a crowd.

wookies
This is a crowd ....
